Good News!

  • Special Olympics 2024!

The Greenville Recreation and Parks Department, partnered with Pitt County Schools, held an amazing Spring Games this year! The smiles on the student's faces says it all.  We also could not have accomplished this great day for our athletes without all of our volunteers! Whether you volunteered from Pitt County Schools or from the community, we appreciate you so much! We can't wait for next year!

    You're a Big Dill!

LEA's are required to report on 17 Indicators to the United States Office of Special Education. Indicator 11 measures the percent of children whose initial evaluations were completed within 90 days upon receipt of parental consent. The target for this indicator is 100% compliance. These schools had all of the required forms for the students who are eligible for special education services, thus meeting this target.
    They are BIG DILLS!
