• Afterschool Program Information for Parents

    Pitt Community Schools & Recreation (PCSR) Afterschool: In partnership with PCSR, Pitt County Schools offers afterschool programs for students grades K-5 at the following schools: Chicod, Creekside, Eastern, Elmhurst, H.B. Sugg/Sam D. Bundy, Lakeforest, Ridgewood, W.H. Robinson, G.R. Whitfield, &  Wintergreen. To register for an after school program, please visit: https://pittcsr.com/after-school/registration.

    Early Grade Student Success Academy (EGSSA): Students who are in second through fourth grade and in need of additional academic support may be selected to participate in EGSSA. EGSSA is offered in partnership with the United Way of Pitt County at the following schools:

    Students participating in EGSSA receive support in the areas of leadership, ELA, Math, STEM, and homework completion from 2:30 pm-5:30 pm Mondays through Thursdays. The program is provided with the support of an ELIS grant and families are not charged to participate.
