The NCDPI STEM Schools progress rubric includes five overarching principles on student opportunities, classroom environment, school structures, school culture, and community connections. These schools have aligned their practices to the five principles by providing quality instruction and student opportunities. With the help of our teachers, school leaders, community partners, families, and other stakeholders, students experience real-world connections with classroom instruction and extracurricular opportunities.
