ECIF Scholarship
East Carolina Ivy Foundation, Inc ® (ECIF) launched in 2012 and supports charitable programs and collaborative partnerships that enhance education, culture, and healthy living for the residents of Pitt County. ECIF extends an invitation for seniors to submit an application for the 2025 East Carolina Ivy Foundation Scholarship. This year ECIF will be awarding two (2) one time $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan on attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university in the fall of 2025.

Sallie May Fund Scholarships
Do you know a high school senior planning to attend a two- or four-year college, or a continuing education program in the fall? They may be eligible for a $10,000 Bridging the Dream Scholarship from The Sallie Mae Fund and Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
High school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and plan to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution or a continuing education program during the 2025-2026 academic year are eligible. Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills and strong moral character and submit a short video sharing a unique perspective, passion, or curiosity that drives their academic interests.

Criminal Justice Fellows Program
Are you a graduating senior who plans to attend a North Carolina community college and major in Criminal Justice? See the information below.My name is Mary Burton, and I am the Criminal Justice Fellows Program Manager at the North Carolina Department of Justice. The Criminal Justice Fellows Program offers an educational sponsorship that covers tuition, fees, books, and supplies for high school graduates to obtain their associate degree at any North Carolina community college and begin a career in an eligible criminal justice profession.

Information about the Buster Bynum Scholarship for high school seniors that are children of active public school transportation employees is now available.

RENEWABLE scholarship from the NCCU National Alumni Association for $5000 per year. The student must maintain a 3.3 GPA and complete 25 hours of community service per year to remain eligible to keep the scholarship. This is not a scholarship that was/is widely advertised.The organization gives multiple renewable $5000/year and multiple $3000/year renewable scholarships each year.The application is now available HERE for students to apply for the 2025-2026 academic year. Students must already be admitted to NCCU for fall 2025 and must have a minimum 3.0 weighted GPA and minimum SAT/ACT scores (900 SAT, 17 ACT).
