Student Reassignment
Non-Open Enrollment Reassignment is for specific situations and is reviewed on a case-by-case basis for students in kindergarten through grade 12.
Examples of who should apply for reassignment:
- A school where the student's Sibling is in the Exceptional Children's Program.
- Other factors discussed with the School Administrator.
- 2017-2018 eighth grade Students domiciled in Cedar Ridge, Irish Creek, Treetops, and Dudley's Grant Neighborhood.
- Parent/Guardian is a FULL-time employee of Pitt County Schools (may request their child or children be assigned to a school that is located within the school district in which they work).
- Sibling enrolled in a NON-open enrollment school.

- Do not submit an application if your child has already been approved through exit grade unless you have moved or your child is transitioning from elementary to middle school or middle to high school.
